Even the cleanest house will have a layer of grease and grime on the kitchen cabinets. Over time, cooking oils will form a film over your cabinets, leading to that gross, sticky feeling. Fortunately, there’s a rather simple method for removing grease from kitchen cabinets – even if they haven’t been cleaned in years!

YouTuber Malina shared her method for removing grease from kitchen cabinets – and there’s a good chance you already have the required products!

You will need:

Murphy Oil Soap
Double-sided sponge (the green and yellow kind)
Old toothbrush
Container filled with water

Directions:

Step 1: Soak the sponge in the water and wring it out so that it’s not sopping, but still wet.

Step 2: Pour a small amount of the Murphy soap onto the scrubby side of the sponge.

Step 3: Scrub away! The Murphy soap and water will make it so that you don’t have to exert a ton of effort. You can use an old toothbrush with the same combination of water and Murphy soap to get in any nooks and crannies.

Step 4: Use a clean rag to wipe off the solution. And that’s it!
