How To Use Dollar Store Sink Mats To Organize Your Drawers

As a parent, it can often feel like we spend the majority of our lives cleaning up after our children and attempting to organize our homes. Life is busy, kids are messy, and it seems like we never have enough storage space! One such example of this? The dreaded t-shirt drawer. From time to time, I’ll pull out all of my t-shirts (and my kids’ t-shirts) from the drawer, refold all of them, and reorganize all of them. The drawer looks awesome for all of a day, until it inevitably turns back into the drawer of disaster.

One clever mom came up with a solution for the dreaded t-shirt drawer dilemma that I wish I had known about years ago. YouTuber Kathryn of Do It On A Dime came up with the idea to take plastic sink mats from the dollar store, tape a few of them together, and use them in place of those folding boards you see in many retail stores (have you ever wondered how they keep their stacks of shirts so neat?!). This hack is extremely easy, and will make your t-shirt drawer look and stay neat and organized.
