Summer is undoubtedly the season of socializing. Between graduation, birthdays, family reunions, and cookouts with friends, our summer weekends are jam packed with plans. That’s why I’m always on the hunt for great recipes that I can whip up and contribute to a group meal. I have made many pasta salad recipes over the years, but the one I’m about to share with you is a bit unique (in the best way possible). It’s built in layers, full of veggies and protein, and finished off with a deliciously tangy dressing.

You can use the pasta noodle of your choice (my go-to options are penne or macaroni) and simply add in romaine, peppers, onions, celery, olives, green peas, ham, and cheese. Of course, you can add or swap out whichever ingredients you’d like, but if you follow this recipe, you can’t go wrong.
