How To Quickly And Efficiently Husk Corn

If your family is anything like mine, then you’ve eaten a ton of corn this summer. Between corn on the cob, peaches and cream corn, and Mexican grilled street corn, the options for cooking with corn are practically endless. The only downside to corn? Removing the husks and silk that comes along with it. That’s where this genius method comes in!

Directions:

Step 1: Put the corn on a plate and microwave for 8 minutes.

Step 2: At the end where the stalk is, cut off the tip about 1″ above the last row of corn kernels.

Step 3: At the uncut end, hold the corn while shaking and squeezing it at the same time. The corn will come right out without the husk and silk.
