How To Make Delicious Homemade Raspberry Buns
There are few things more wonderful than fruit in dessert form. Lemon squares, blueberry tarts, strawberry cheesecake… need I say more? Today, I’m going to add one more dessert to that list – raspberry buns. This delicious dessert recipe is similar to a cinnamon bun, but filled with sweet and somewhat tangy raspberries instead. Yum!
Twisted created this recipe, and they created it with simplicity in mind. This recipe involves three sections: for the dough, the raspberry filling, and the icing that covers the buns as a final step. Don’t have any fresh raspberries? No problem – frozen raspberries can easily be swapped in with this recipe.
There are two periods of rising time involved in this recipe, and make sure you don’t try to rush them! The dough first needs to rise when the ingredients are mixed together, and once the buns are rolled up and placed in the baking pan, they need to rise again. Both of these rising periods will ensure that the buns are soft and oh so fluffy.
