I’m part Italian, so it goes without saying that I love a good, homemade lasagna. However, you know what I love almost as much as traditional lasagna? Dessert lasagna. If you’ve never heard of dessert lasagna before, it’s essentially just a layered dessert – think a trifle, but more of a lasagna shape. In my daily quest for finding the best dessert recipes on the internet, I stumbled across this recipe for very berry dessert lasagna. And I think it might even be as delicious as it is beautiful.

Vera of the food blog Oh My Goodness Chocolate Desserts is responsible for this masterpiece. Let me walk you through the different layers from the bottom to the top. First is a layer of crushed Golden Oreos and melted butter (drooling). Next is a layer of strawberry mousse with diced fresh strawberries, followed by a layer of no-bake cheesecake (yep, I’m sold). Then, we’re met with a layer of blueberry mousse and a layer of whipped cream. Finally, the top is sprinkled with white chocolate shavings and fresh berries.

Honestly, I don’t think I could have dreamed up a better dessert if I had tried. This dessert is tasty and beautiful, plus there’s no baking required. None! The colors involved in this recipe make it the perfect themed Fourth of July dessert. But I actually think it would be appropriate for any summer gathering where you’re in charge of bringing a dessert along!
