How To Fix Car Scratches With WD-40

Over time, pretty much everyone’s vehicle will get dinged up with a scratch or two. Maybe your car door got slammed into the garage wall. Or maybe someone backed into you in a parking lot and drove away. No matter the case, seeing a scratch on your car can be a huge bummer. Fortunately, this simple hack will save you a trip to the mechanic’s and save you money.

You probably already know that WD-40 is a miracle product (click here to see 12 surprising uses for WD-40!). And this is the only thing you need to take care of a car scratch. Keep in mind this hack won’t work for quite severe scratches. However, it will likely take care of all minor to moderate ones.

All you have to do is spray a generous amount of WD-40 onto the scratch in question. Then, take a rag or paper towel and rub at the scratch. Don’t be afraid to put some effort in! After a minute or so, you should start to see the scratch fading. It’s seriously that simple! Just check out the video below to see this method in action.
