How To Make DIY Cleaner For A Wide Range Of Household Chores
I feel like I have a different cleaning product for just about every surface in my home. And while most of them seem to work pretty well, this makes for a very crowded and cluttered cupboard under the sink. Wouldn’t it be nice to have one, universal cleaning agent that can tackle pretty much all of your household chores? If you agree, this might just be the solution!
Blender Babes shared their recipe for a DIY “Green Cleaner” that can be used for cleaning and disinfecting multiple surfaces throughout your home. All you need to do is mix together 10 ounces of water, 8 ounces of distilled vinegar, 4 ounces of lemon juice, 2 ounces of liquid dish soap (like Dawn), and 2 teaspoons of baking soda.
This DIY cleaner is great for a multitude of surfaces including stainless steel sinks, porcelain sinks and tubs, countertops, faucets, and the toilet. The lemon juice and vinegar act as natural disinfectants, the soap is a great cleaning agent, and the baking soda works to deodorize.
The nice thing about this cleaning agent is that it can be used for a variety of surfaces and it’s also made from mostly natural products. If you can save on cleaning products and make an all-purpose version yourself, why wouldn’t you?
