Dad Builds Beautiful Two-Story Playhouse For His Kids

Avery and Violet are two lucky little girls. Their dad, Adam Boyd, built them a beautiful two-story playhouse that is so amazing, I would gladly live there myself. Equipped with a front porch and second-story balcony, rock wall, and slide, this playhouse is what every child dreams of.
“My wife and the girls went up there and ate lunch in it all summer. She’s a teacher so they spent a lot of time out there,” Adam told ABC News. It took Adam “quite a while to complete,” as he had to use weekends and his spare time to work on the playhouse. But, the end result is well worth it!
The inside of the playhouse features a sitting area, play kitchen, chalkboard walls, and an adorable sitting/play area on the second floor. The walls are painted purple – in honor of daughter Violet of course!
“A lot of people, friends and family included, thought I was nuts for doing what I did, but I’m very satisfied with the outcome,” said Adam. “I’m happy to watch them play in it, and play in it with them. It’s worth every penny I’ve spent and it’s gonna be there forever.” We couldn’t agree more, Adam – I’m sure Avery and Violet will love it for years to come!
