1. Bobby Pin Dispenser
Sick of finding bobby pins all over your bathroom and home? Store them in an empty Tic Tac container. That way, you can easily dispense them one at a time, whenever you need them.
2. Tape Marker Hack
We all know how frustrating it is when you can’t find the end of a tape roll. When you’re done using the tape, stick a paperclip to the end. This way, you’ll have a marker clearly showing where the end is.
3. Pancake Batter Trick
To make mess-free, perfectly circular pancakes, transfer the batter into an empty, clean ketchup bottle.
4. Fix A Flip Flop
To fix a flip flop in a pinch, use the tab from a milk bag to keep the rubber strap from sliding through the bottom.
5. Paint Can Tip
Fasten an elastic band around a paint can. Use the elastic band to wipe off excess paint on your brush. This will save the sides of the can from getting covered in paint, as well as prevent a paint-splattered mess!
6. Shave Sweaters
To remove pilling from knit sweaters, shave them with a disposable razor!
7. Soften Masking Tape
To soften masking tape that’s become dried out, stick the entire roll in the microwave for a few seconds!
8. Unstick A Zipper
To unstick a zipper, apply some Vaseline or lip balm along the zipper’s teeth.
9. Drink Cooling Hack
To cool down a drink extremely fast, wrap the bottle in a piece of wet paper towel before putting the drink in the freezer. After 10 to 15 minutes, the drink will be completely cool.
10. Double Closet Space
To double the amount of clothes you can hang in your closet, use soda can tabs to hang one hanger from another.
11. Prevent Water Spillage
To prevent a pot of water from boiling over the edge, lay a wooden spoon across the top of the pot.
12. Perfect Iced Coffee
If you like iced coffee on a hot day, brew a pot of coffee and pour the liquid in an ice cube tray. Once frozen, pop some of the cubes in a glass and pour some milk or cream over top!
13. Door Hack
If you’re going to be coming in and out of a door and want it to stay open, fasten an elastic band around the handles in an X-shape. This will ensure the latch part stays tucked in.
14. Chill Your Wine
If you want your wine to be colder but don’t want ice cubes watering it down, freeze grapes and use them instead!
