Today I spent the day cooking up some traditional meals and having @hazen.agency create great content for @recipesforramadan! I spoke about my Palestinian ancestry, my Jordanian culture and @k_aljerjawi’s Palestinian/Syrian background.. It was such an amazing experience cooking in a commercial kitchen and having all those cameras in action capturing what I usually do every day! @hazen.agency if only I can hire you guys to take my daily videos 🙈🤣 you done an amazing job! What is @recipesforramadan you ask? It’s a project sparked by COVID-19, initialed by @janejeffes. During Ramadan, Muslims invite friends, neighbours, colleagues to join their family for dinner to break the daily fast. With Social distancing that’s not possible so Recipes for Ramadan is an invitation to a virtual iftar dinner, sharing recipes and stories in lieu of sitting down face to face. Celebrating richly diverse Muslim culture and heritage, it’s a kind of Who Do you Think You Are? with food replacing the family tree! Check out their website recipesforramadan.com and follow @recipesforramadan on their social media sites to see what recipes people have shared so far. I can’t wait to share what I made with you all soon 😍 . . . . . .

Whisk or whip till it thickens (a minute or so) – place biscoff jar in microwave for about 30 seconds till it melts. Make sure it’s not hot then pour it over the pudding mixture.
