How To Remove Stubborn Stains From Clothing And Linens
It’s never a fun feeling to spill something on a beloved piece of clothing. Unfortunately, most brand-name stain removers rarely seem to do the trick, and we’re often left with permanently stained clothing that then has to be reserved for gardening and chores around the house. Fortunately, there’s some good news – there are multiple effective stain treatment methods that don’t involve using harsh chemicals. Here they are!
Soak your stained clothing in a tub of water, adding in five to six crushed Aspirins. Let them soak for half an hour to an hour, then wash and dry as you normally would.
2. Vinegar and Lemon
You can also soak stained clothing in a solution of water, distilled vinegar, and lemon juice. The combination of the vinegar and lemon is excellent for dissolving stubborn stains. After soaking for half an hour or so, wash and dry as usual.
3. Baking Soda
Fill a sink or tub with water and one cup of baking soda. Then, soak your stained clothing in the solution for about 15 minutes. When the time’s up, you can wash and dry the clothing as you normally would.
So, the next time you stain your favorite top or pair of pants, don’t fret! Just use one of these natural methods involving products you already have around the house.
