How To Make Paula Deen’s 5-Minute Fudge

I start really hitting the gym about two months before Christmas, just to account for the piles of treats I know I’ll be eating. The holidays are full of sugar cookies, gingerbread, decadent hot chocolate, and of course, fudge. And in regards to the last dessert, we’re about to help you out! Rose Blackledge took to Facebook to share Paula Deen’s recipe for five-minute fudge, and thinking about it already has us drooling!

To make Paula Deen’s five-minute fudge, you will need:

1 2/3 cups of white sugar

2/3 cup of evaporated milk

1 tablespoon of unsalted butter

1/2 teaspoon of salt

1 6oz package of milk chocolate chips

16 large marshmallows

1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract

1 cup of chopped nuts

Directions:

Step 1: Combine the sugar, butter, evaporated milk, and salt in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook for about five minutes, stirring constantly.

Step 2: Add in the chocolate chips and cook until melted.

Step 3: Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the marshmallows, vanilla, and nuts. Mix well.

Step 4: Pour the mixture into an 8″ pan. Let cool, then cut into squares and serve. That’s all there is to it!
