How To Make Your Own Beautiful Hanging Succulent Orb
I don’t have much of a green thumb – and that’s exactly why I love succulents so much! Succulents require very little care – in fact, they thrive on very little care, making them a super easy yet beautiful plant to have in your home or garden. I recently stumbled across a DIY project for hanging succulent orbs, and they are nothing short of gorgeous. I’m already planning out all of the places I can hang them!
Better Homes & Gardens has an excellent tutorial for hanging succulent orbs, complete with a video showing all of the steps. You’ll need some basic materials for this project, along with succulents of course. Better Homes & Gardens suggests shopping for succulents at the end of the summer, when their prices tend to be marked down. You may also want to look for inexpensive succulent types (like hens and chicks), because you’ll need a lot of them for this project.
This is such a cool DIY project because it can really be customized to your design taste and personal preference. Hang your succulent orbs from your front porch, back deck, shed, or even from a stand in your garden. When it’s time to water your succulent orb, simply submerge it in water and let it completely dry out in between waterings.
