How To Make Delicious Butternut Cookies
I’m not much of a baker, but I am always open to easy, no-fail dessert recipes. Nothing fancy, but delicious and a fan favorite. Well, I now have another of these recipes to add to my list, and that’s a recipe for butternut cookies. Butternut cookies combine a number of delicious, sweet ingredients, and they are super easy to make!
Aside from your typical baking staples like sugar and butter, this recipe calls for butterscotch chips, finely chopped pecans, and a dash of rum extract. If you don’t like pecans, you could easily swap them out for chopped walnuts or sliced almonds. Don’t like butterscotch chips? Use chocolate chips or white chocolate chips instead! You can totally edit the recipe to suit your preferences.
I know that many of you contribute to assorted Christmas cookie boxes over the holiday season. How delicious would a box of these, chocolate chip cookies, gingerbread, date squares, and shortbread be? I am pretty much drooling just thinking about it!
