If You Bake Anything This Fall, Let It Be These Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

The fall season is the perfect excuse to overindulge in pumpkin-inspired products. Between pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin candles, and pumpkin desserts, the options are pretty much endless! And when it comes to the latter, we have a pumpkin dessert that you’ll want to whip up every week (or maybe even every day!).

Mary Dorr took to Facebook to share her recipe for pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. The recipe is extremely straightforward, and it’s the perfect twist on a traditional chocolate chip cookie recipe.

To make pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, you will need:

1 cup of pure pumpkin

3/4 cup of sugar

1/2 cup of oil

1 egg

2 cups of flour

2 teaspoons of baking powder

1 teaspoon of cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of baking soda

1 teaspoon of milk

1 teaspoon of vanilla

1 cup of chocolate chips

Directions:

Step 1: Dissolve the baking soda in the milk and set aside. In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin, sugar, oil, and egg.

Step 2: Add in the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and dissolved baking soda. Stir in the chocolate chips and vanilla.

Step 3: Spoon onto a cookie sheet, then bake at 375 degrees fahrenheit for 10 to 12 minutes. Let cool, then dig in!
