How To Make Pressed Flower Butterfly Wings

source: Woodlark Blog

When I was a child, my mother bought me a scrapbook and flower pressing kit. I just loved finding and drying the flowers, pressing them, and applying them to the pages as a keepsake. That’s why when I saw this DIY project I’m going to share with you today, my inner child could not contain her excitement.

Woodlark Blog shared a beautiful, whimsical DIY for pressed flower butterfly wings. With some pressed flowers and a few other simple crafting materials, you can create a pair of stunning fairy or butterfly wings for a child’s costume (or adult’s costume!) or simply as a decoration. That’s how beautiful they are!

The nice thing about this project is that you can follow the instructions yet still use your creativity in terms of the flowers you choose and the arrangements you choose.

I love the driftwood used as the butterfly’s body. It keeps the whole vibe of the project very natural.
