How To Make A DIY Light-Up Headboard

When we moved into our new house, I immediately started shopping around for furniture. On the top of my list was a big, dramatic bed frame and headboard to really complete the master bedroom. However, I soon found out that the majority of good-looking headboards are pretty pricey, which obviously disappointed me just a little.
If you’re also looking for a beautiful headboard but don’t want to sacrifice the contents of your bank account to buy one, today is a good day! YouTuber Nastazsa created a cheap and easy DIY project that will leave you with a whimsical, unique, and super pretty “headboard.”
All she does is hang some Command Hooks in a straight row a good distance above the top of her bed, hang small twinkle lights from the hooks, secure a curtain rod into the wall above the hooks, and hang light, gauzy drapes from the curtain rod. This creates a beautiful backdrop and totally nontraditional alternative to a regular old headboard.
