How To Make A Delicious Layered Nacho Dip
One thing that you can usually count on being served at parties and on football Sunday is a layered nacho dip. Although store-bought versions are fine, making your own is super easy and will taste even better. This layered nacho dip recipe from Tostitos is about to be your new favorite snack!
To make 7-layer nacho dip, you will need:
1 can of refried beans
1 cup of sour cream
3/4 cup of shredded monterey jack cheese
2 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
2 tablespoons of lime juice
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/2 jar of Tostitos tomato salsa
1/4 cup of pitted, sliced black olives
1 green onion, thinly sliced
1 bag of Tostitos Scoops! Tortilla Chips
Step 1: In a saucepan, heat the refried beans just until warmed through. Spread evenly in a rectangular or oval shallow glass dish. Spread the sour cream over top. Sprinkle with cheese.
Step 2: Mash together the avocados, lime juice, and salt; dollop over the cheese. Top with salsa and sprinkle with black olives and green onion. Serve with Scoops! for dipping.
Tip: Add pickled or fresh chopped and seeded jalapeño peppers if desired.
