I’ve seen tiny homes and vacation rentals in a number of untraditional dwellings, including old train cabooses, school buses, and even pinecone-shaped tree houses! But one thing I can safely say I had never seen until now? A bed and breakfast room housed in a converted grain silo! You might be thinking that this sounds absurd, but it’s actually a charming, rustic “cabin” that I think would be awesome to stay in.

The Gruene Homestead Inn Bed & Breakfast decided to turn a 1940s grain silo into a beautiful “loft” apartment that’s available to rent on their property. The Gruene Homestead Inn is located in New Braunfels, Texas, and the silo attracts a great number of visitors each year.

The silo is certainly charming and quaint from the outside, and the inside is no different. It accommodates up to four guests, and features one king bed and two twin beds. There’s also wifi, a television, rustic-chic bathroom, kitchenette, and mini living room.

The silo is currently being rented for $195 per night. If you’re interested in booking it, book quickly, as the silo is one of their most popular dwellings.
