If You Have A Couple Cans Of Corn, You Can Make This Cheesy Corn Casserole
I have a lot of favorite comfort food dishes: homemade mac n’ cheese, scalloped potatoes, fried chicken, bacon grilled cheese, chicken pot pie… gosh, is anyone else getting hungry? To make a cheesy corn casserole, you will need:
1 11oz can of whole kernel corn, drained
1 11oz can of cream-style corn
1 8oz container of sour cream
1 8.5oz package of dry cornbread mix
1 small onion, diced
1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, divided
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. Grease a 9 x 13″ baking dish.
Step 2: In a large bowl, combine the whole corn, cream-style corn, sour cream, egg, cornbread mix, onion, and cheddar cheese. Mix well and pour into prepared dish.
Step 3: Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes.
Step 4: Remove from the oven and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake for another 20 minutes.
When the time’s up, let cool and enjoy!
