While you could technically use any type of pasta you want, this recipe calls for egg noodles. These soft, wide noodles lap up all the savory sauce making them the perfect choice for this dish. Fresh ingredients like chopped red, yellow, and orange peppers, as well as onion, basil, and parsley add some healthy ingredients but also some amazing flavor.
In my opinion, the focal point of this recipe is the Italian sausage and Italian seasoning which come together with the other ingredients to make a delicious, rich sauce that’s full of protein. Top with some freshly grated Parmesan cheese and you’ve got yourself an amazing meal.
