Two-Ingredient Cake Recipe: Light, Fluffy, And Delicious!

You know those times when you’re craving something sweet, but don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen making a dessert? I like to cook, but I am no baker. Unfortunately, I also have a pretty big sweet tooth. So, my lack of baking skills and constant hankering for a sweet treat gets to be a little bit of a problem from time to time.

If you’ve been in this situation yourself, you’re going to love the dessert we’re about to share with you. Sheila Pulanco Russell took to Facebook to share quite possibly the easiest cake recipe I have ever laid eyes on. Seriously, it’s almost too easy. It only involves using two ingredients!
To make this cake, Sheila explains that all you have to do is combine a box of angel food cake mix with a 20-ounce can of crushed pineapple, juice and all. You don’t need to follow the directions on the cake box. Simply pour the mix in with the pineapple and stir with a mixer or using a wooden spoon.

Sheila explains that as you begin mixing these two ingredients, something rather magical happens. The mixture will start to froth and will turn into an amazingly airy, fluffy bowl of deliciousness right before your very eyes! Once it’s all mixed up, pour the mixture into a 9 x 13 pan and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees fahrenheit.
When the time’s up, you’ll have a sweet, light dessert that’s like something you’d eat on vacation. And the best part is, you hardly have to put any effort into making it. Thanks for sharing this great recipe, Sheila!
