How To Tackle A LoveBug Swarm In Your Yard

If you live anywhere in the Southern United States, I think it’s safe to assume you know what lovebugs are. These odd-looking flies have two major flights each year; one in the spring and one in fall. During these flight periods, you will notice a whole lot of lovebugs around, which can obviously get pretty annoying when you’re trying to enjoy your outdoor spaces. Thankfully, one woman came up with a genius solution for getting rid of them.

Stephanie White Nelson took to Facebook to share how she got rid of the lovebugs that were swarming her doors. All she did was put a small amount of water in a bright white bowl, then added in a couple spoonfuls of baby oil. After sitting the bowl outside for just 30 minutes, it was completely full of lovebugs.
