I love homes that are unique, and where you can tell the owners have poured their heart and soul into them. And on that note, let’s take a tour of one of the cutest little homes I’ve ever laid eyes on! Millersburg, Ohio couple Ron and Sue Corl were ready to downsize, but were in no rush to move into the first home they found. And so, they took six years building and designing their dream tiny home.

Ron and Sue describe themselves as “old, idealistic dreamers, fresh out of youth,” and their 450-square-foot home completely reflects that.

The green and yellow siding is so charming.

From the white-painted beams, to the patchwork quilts, to the painted stairs, this home exudes coziness.

Entering this home must feel like stepping back in time – in the best way possible.

That bright and retro kitchen is really something!

Even the washroom is funky. Plus, it features a composting toilet.

For a tiny home, the shower (which features custom tile work) is surprisingly large.

I think the staircase is my favorite part of this home.

Check out that vaulted, painted ceiling in the bedroom! Very fun.
I’ve never seen a house quite like this one before, and I can imagine how cozy and comfortable it must be living here. Great work, Ron and Sue – you totally brought your vision to life, and the six-year wait to move in was certainly worth it!
