Southern Living created a recipe for fresh, homemade peach ice cream that has me drooling all over my computer keyboard. This is a classic Southern recipe, and it doesn’t require any fancy ingredients. While fresh peaches would take this recipe to the next level, canned peaches are a suitable substitute.
This recipe is extremely simple to throw together, mostly because the ingredients are all pantry staples: whole milk, condensed milk, evaporated milk, sugar, vanilla, egg yolks, and of course, peaches. After a bit of mixing and a few periods of chill time, your ice cream will be ready to serve!
