Couple Builds Dream Rustic Chic Home In The Idaho Mountains

Many of us dream of one day building our own custom home. For some of us, this dream even becomes a reality. And that’s how it happened for Bobbi Jo Robinson and her husband! The couple poured a substantial amount of time, money, and effort into building their dream home nestled in the rolling hills of Idaho. Bobbi Jo designed everything herself, and the finished product is a rustic chic home that fans of the HGTV hit show Fixer Upper will drool over.
Let’s take a look, shall we?!
Not a bad place to build a house, right? The traditional farmhouse is nestled among the Idaho mountains, and was painted a gorgeous, muted seafoam color. Bobbi Jo reveals that the exterior paint color is called “Sage Pond” by Sherwin Williams.
An inviting front porch and door sets the stage for the rest of the home.
Now that’s what I call a kitchen! The large, in-eat island and ample cupboard space are definitely perks of this area.
The cabinets have a subtle distressed finish, and the backsplash is a lovely, pale mint color.
Directly off the kitchen is a large, walk-in pantry with floor-to-ceiling shelves and an adorable coffee station by the window. How amazing is the screen door that Bobbi Jo had custom made?
The charming dining room is directly off the kitchen, and is perfect for dining with friends or family.
Of course, this home simply wouldn’t be complete without a cozy family room. Just look at all of those windows!
The master bathroom features double sinks, farmhouse-inspired light fixtures, and a stunning clawfoot bathtub.
The master bedroom is the epitome of cozy, serene, and comfortable. The iron bed frame is so perfect in this space.
