I love admiring my budding flower garden, and I don’t even mind watering it. But one thing I really dislike doing? Pulling weeds. According to a post shared by the Facebook group My Favorite Holiday, three ingredients are all you need to make a super effective DIY weed killer spray. You will need:
1/2 cup of liquid dish soap
1 gallon of distilled vinegar
1/4 cup of salt
Empty spray bottle
Simply mix the three ingredients together, then pour the solution in the spray bottle. Spray the solution directly onto the weeds and wait for them to shrivel up and die. Once they’re dead, the chances of them growing again in that spot are extremely slim.
The best part about this DIY solution is that it’s all natural. Now there’s no need to go out and buy harsh, chemical-filled weed killers that could be damaging to yourself, children, and pets.
