I love our home, but I dream of owning a cabin or cottage all the time. There’s just something so appealing about having a little place nestled somewhere quiet among nature. If you, too, have a similar dream, the chances of making that dream a reality may actually be quite high. And that’s because a Moscow-based architecture firm called Bio Architects has designed a prefab cabin that can be built in 10 days for $80,000.

The “DublDom” modular prefab home is built from materials including metal, barn board, and glass, which is how they are able to keep the cost of the build so low. The DublDom can be built in a range from 280 square feet all the way to 1,400 square feet. So, you could have a tiny home for less money, or a reasonably sized cabin for a little more!

The model shown here boasts eight rooms, and tons of natural light due to the many large windows and skylights. The entire interior is covered in whitewashed solid pine wood, making it the perfect combination of modern and rustic.

I can safely say that I would have absolutely no problem owning a gorgeous cabin like this one. And thankfully for all of us, the builder is now accepting pre-orders for these models in the United States. Score!
