I’ve seen my fair share of tiny homes, many of which are made from single, double, or triple shipping containers. But I can say with certainty that until today, I had never seen a home made from 12 shipping containers put together. Upon first glance, I wouldn’t have ever thought this home was constructed using shipping containers. It simply looks like a spacious, stunning, modern home. And, it’s just as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside!
The House looks
As reported by Bored Panda, this architectural wonder was built among the lush greenery of the Waikato region of New Zealand. The home is the perfect blend of homey and industrial. It features polished concrete floors, 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and an abundance of natural light.

The spacious property also features a garage, small cottage, and even a swimming pool.

The kitchen, living area, and dining room are all open to one another, with a double staircase leading residents to the separate sleeping quarters.

Most of the bedrooms feature either an adjoining deck or balcony for enjoying a morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine.

Even the bathrooms are worthy of a magazine feature! I love the modern freestanding tub and staggered pendant lighting.

The seamless transition from indoor to outdoor living is one of my favorite aspects of this cleverly designed house.

I think this unique home’s designer and builder did a wonderful job of using industrial materials like shipping containers. They created a functional, inviting, and beautiful space. I may not have originally thought I’d ever want to live in a home made from shipping containers. But this masterpiece has changed my mind!
