More and more people are transitioning from traditional houses, apartments, and townhouses to tiny home living. With the rising costs of rent and buying homes, it makes sense that some people would choose to live rent- and mortgage-free. Tiny home living definitely allows for a great deal of financial freedom – as long as you can handle a smaller square footage!
Lisa and Matt are a young couple from Sydney, New South Wales, who decided to design and build their very own, super modern tiny home. With the home’s jet-black exterior and outdoor living space, there’s no doubt that this tiny home is sleek and luxurious. There’s even a tunnel leading from the house to a large, fenced-in and meshed area for their cats to go in. Oh, and did we mention their home is on wheels, too?!
The house’s roof is lined with skylights for optimal light. There’s a living area complete with a small fireplace and a surprisingly spacious kitchen with full-size appliances. They also have quite a large washroom with a double shower and a spacious, light-filled bedroom. They also designed many clever storage solutions, including mirrors with shelves behind them and a set of stairs with hidden storage compartments.
All in all, Lisa and Matt did an absolutely incredible job with this sleek, functional, and unique tiny home.
