Target is a wonderful place for doing some one-stop shopping. Between food, clothing, and home accessories, you can truly get everything you need (for an inexpensive price) from Target. If you shop at Target on a regular basis, here are eight secrets you’ll want to know about to get the best deals possible.
1. Request A Rain Check
If you find an item on sale but Target runs out of stock, you can request a rain check. When the item comes back in stock, they will honor the sale price, even if the item is no longer on sale.
2. Markdown Percentage
If you look in the upper right-hand corner of the price tag, that little number there shows you the markdown percentage of that item.
3. Return Limit
At Target, there is a limit on the returns you can make without a receipt. If you don’t have your receipt, you can’t return more than $75 worth of merchandise in a year.
4. Competitor Price Match
If you find the same item being sold for less in a competitor’s flyer or online ad, bring it to Target and they will price match the item.
5. Price Tag Secrets
If the price on an item’s price tag ends in $0.06 or $0.08, the item will be priced down yet again. If you can hold off, you’ll probably be able to get the item for even cheaper.

If a price on an item’s price tag ends in $0.04, the item won’t be marked down further. So if you want it, you better buy it!

Unlike other items at Target, electronics and entertainment-related products have a limited return or exchange window: 30 days.
