How To Use A Wrapping Paper Roll And A Nylon Stocking To Help Save On Your Electricity Bill
We live in a house that’s over 100 years old, and to say it gets cold during the winter would be an understatement. Many homes are chilly and full of drafts in the cooler months which means that you probably have a higher heating bill than you’d like. Thankfully, there’s one hack in particular that can help your home stay warmer and help you save on your electricity bill!
YouTuber DaveHax reveals that two empty wrapping paper rolls and some nylon stockings are all you need to heat your home more efficiently. Start out by cutting the nylons so that you’re left with only one leg. Then, insert the cardboard rolls into the stocking leg so that they’re side by side.
Carefully pull the rolls apart and place them on either side of the bottom of the door, with the nylon section underneath. Close the door, and you’ll be able to keep cold air and drafts outside, and lock heat inside! For such a simple trick, this hack can really make all the difference during the winter months.
