If you’re lucky enough to have a big backyard and children (or grandchildren!), then you may have a sandbox for them to play in. Sandboxes can provide hours of entertainment for young children, and they’re a great way to get kids out playing in the fresh air. However, sandboxes tend to attract all sorts of pests and even cats, and they can become pretty gross extremely fast.
That’s where this genius hack comes in! All you have to do is mix a cup of cinnamon in with the sand. Pests hate cinnamon, and they’ll stay out of the sandbox.
