I really do think that there is an incredible style of house to be found in every time period. I have owned homes from the Victorian, Edwardian, and pre-war eras, and I have found immense character in every single one. A type of house I’ve never owned but have always admired is the craftsman. Made popular in the early 1900s, craftsman-style homes are typically one-storey and feature long, low, and open floor plans.
