Japanese actor Miki Ryosuke paid a visit to his doctor to address a back pain issue. His doctor prescribed him a back exercise to help him relieve his pain and discomfort. Amazingly enough, Miki lost 28.7 pounds and 4.7″ off his waist in just a few weeks from doing this exercise daily. So, how does it work?

The exercise involves assuming a certain position, taking a three-second breath in, then doing a seven-second exhalation. Fat consists of oxygen, hydrogen, and carbon. The oxygen you breathe in splits the fat cells into carbon and water. So the more oxygen your body uses, the more fat you burn.

To try this exercise, stand up straight with one leg slightly forward and the other slightly back. Strain your buttocks and transfer your weight to your back foot. Slowly start inhaling for three seconds, lifting your arms above your head. Then, exhale forcefully for seven seconds, straining all of your body’s muscles while you do so. Perform this exercise every day for two to 10 minutes.

Another perk to this exercise? Experts believe it will also strengthen your muscles and increase your metabolism. Sounds like a pretty good deal for such a small amount of work! Thanks to Bright Side for sharing this information, and click on the video below to see this exercise in action.
